The Annual BED RACE & PARADE is a signature event of Cathedral City LGBT Days. Teams of 5 decorate a bed on wheels (Bed supplied by City) and race for the trophy on Ave Lalo Guerrero in front of City Hall while thousands cheer them on.

Along with the VIP Breakfast, Vendor Marketplace, and Food and Drink options, this will be a day of excitement!

Award Categories are:

Grand Prize - Presented to the best overall entry.

Mayor's Award - Presented to the entry which best depicts the parade theme.

Spirit Award - Presented to the entry which best personifies enthusiasm and brings the greatest pleasure to and response from the spectators.

Innovation Award - Presented to the entry which shows the most creativity and originality.

Fast & Furious Award - Presented to the entry which has the fastest time in the Bed Race.
